Turner Network Television, owned by Turner Broadcasting System, airs the television series "Rizzoli and Isles." The first episode aired in July 2010, and viewers can watch previously aired seasons on Warner Home Video DVDs as of 2015.

"Rizzoli and Isles" features two female lead roles: Angie Harmon plays a detective and Sasha Alexander portrays a medical examiner solving crimes in Boston. The drama has won numerous awards for Angie Harmon's leading female portrayal. Each of the first five seasons of the show ranked in the top five for scripted dramas on cable, and over 7 million viewers tuned to TNT for the show's premiere.
