What are the two types of local winds?

Sea breezes and land breezes are two types of local winds. Sea breezes blow from water to the shore while land breezes blow from the shore to the water.
Both sea and land breezes are a result of a difference of air pressure and temperature. Sea breezes form on hotter days because the land warms faster than water. Land breezes occur during the evening when land loses heat more quicker than water. Both types of breezes are strongest at the shoreline, where the differences in temperature and pressure are greatest. The time of day when breezes are strongest is mid-afternoon, when differences in temperature and pressure are greatest.
