What type of fuses does a Ford F350 use?
By Forinfos - 26/12/2025 - 0 comments
The most common types of fuses found on a Ford F350 or any model passenger vehicle are blade and cartridge fuses. Blade fuses are rated for small amperage units while cartridge fuses are made to handle much more voltage.
Blade fuses are available with an array of different color types and sizes. They range from .5 amps to 120 amps. Each amp size is color coded which allows each fuse to be easily distinguishable from the others.
Cartridge fuses are small plastic boxes that are located inside fuse boxes on the vehicle. These fuses are commonly used for high amperage situations, such as the main fuse.
