Narcotics Anonymous is a group-based community program aimed towards fighting addiction to narcotics. Meetings are set up by members, and the group encourages attendance as much as possible.

Narcotics Anonymous is a world-wide organization founded in 1953. The program follows a twelve-step process to help addicts and former addicts, similar to Alcoholics Anonymous. It has an emphasis on peer support within the group and outside of it as well. Membership is free, and meetings are plentiful. Those who take any sort of drug, including alcohol, are welcome. The Narcotics Anonymous website maintains a list of meetings that is searchable by country, state and zip code.
