What types of clothing have unisex sizes?

The most common types of clothing available in unisex sizes include tee-shirts, hoodies and other items that are designed to fit relatively loosely and without tailoring. Hats, belts, scarves and other accessories can also be worn as unisex clothing.

Unisex sizes are usually measured in inches, rather than number sizes. This allows men who may not be familiar with how women's sizes fit and women who may not be familiar with men's sizes to find the item that is the most appropriate fit. However, some clothing companies that produce unisex items do elect to use number sizes. In these cases, women may be advised to order one size down from the size they normally wear.
