What are typical caregiver wages?
By Forinfos - 29/03/2026 - 0 comments
Typical caregiver wages are $10.04 per hour, as of 2015. Wages are usually between $8.14 and 14.85 per hour, depending on the organization worked for or tenure. Some caregivers receive benefits such as dental and vision insurance.
Caregivers help clients around the house, take them to appointments and help them with transportation, meals and medications. They often act as companions and report on their clients' conditions and needs. There are no regular educational requirements for a caregiver, but certifications, such as certified nurse's assistant or home health aide, increase credentials and pay. Most caregivers in the United States are women.
