Kam Carman attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Ariz., graduating in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism. Carman is a radio and television personality working for 100.3 WNIC in Detroit, Mich. She formerly held a position as a morning news anchor with Fox 2 Detroit.

Carman is a single mother of twin daughters, Jacquelyn and Kellan. She has worked in broadcast journalism for more than 20 years and she has received six Emmy nominations, as of 2015.
