The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has a link to the LakeFinder on its website, DNR.State.MN.us. Find information about Minnesota lakes and rivers by selecting the name of the lake or selecting a county.
Access the LakeFinder on DNR.State.MN.us by clicking LakeFinder on the home page. Enter a lake or a county, and click Get Lake Data. Information such as lake surveys, depth maps, water quality and fish consumption advice displays on the next page. The website also includes fish-stocking reports that provide stocking activity by county and specie. The LakeFinder provides information about 4,500 lakes and rivers in Minnesota.
