PET can be used as a filling for cushions or as a fiber in fake silk, according to Encyclopedia Britannica. Some modified types of PET are used in electronic devises, such as DuPont's Rynite. PET can also be used to make things like high-end plastics, conveyer belts and carpet. It has a wide range of applications, from diapers to railroad beds.
