Public records in Baton Rouge, Louisiana state that Jimmy Swaggart's home was valued at $1.5 million by the tax assessor as of 2015. Jimmy Swaggart is an American pastor, author and televangelist who has a net worth of about $1.5 million.

The purchase of the Swaggart estate is clouded with mystery and controversy. William D. Treeby, the Jimmy Swaggart World Ministries general counsel, stated that Swaggart's home and his son Donnie's $726,000 estate, were built partly with a loan of $1.8 million from the ministry. Although Treeby declared that the Swaggarts had paid off their loan monthly, amounts were not disclosed.
