How do you get Vaseline out of your hair?

To get Vaseline out of your hair, wipe it with a tissue, cover it with cornstarch, blot the cornstarch with a tissue, wash the hair twice with clarifying shampoo, apply conditioner, rinse and style as usual. This 45-minute process requires tissues, cornstarch, clarifying shampoo, conditioner, a comb and detangling spray.

1. Wipe away extra Vaseline

   Fold a facial tissue in half, and wipe the hair to remove as much Vaseline as possible.

2. Coat the hair with cornstarch

   Coat the hair with cornstarch, and press the powder into the Vaseline with a tissue. Add more cornstarch, and press again. Make sure that all of the Vaseline is caked with powder.

3. Take a hot shower

   Step into a hot shower, wet your hair and apply clarifying shampoo. Scrub the shampoo into the hair with your fingers, and rinse with hot water. Apply more clarifying shampoo to the areas covered with Vaseline, scrub the hair and rinse again. Coat the hair with moisturizing conditioner, leave it on your hair for 5 minutes, and rinse with cool water.

4. Detangle the hair

   Dry the hair with a towel, comb it gently and apply a generous amount of detangling spray. Comb the hair again, and style as usual.
