As of July 2015, Need for Speed Rivals can be played on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Playstation 4 video game consoles. In addition, the game is available on PC.

Rivals was first available for sale on the PlayStation 4 on November 15, 2013. Later that month, it became available on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and Xbox One. Considering low sales on previous titles, Rivals was not developed for Nintendo consoles, such as the Wii U. As Need for Speed is a series of video games, you shouldn't expect it to be available for future consoles, except in cases of backwards compatibility.
