What do Vietnamese people eat?

The Vietnamese primarily eat noodles, fish, meats and exotic foods, such as turtle, snake and dog. Common Vietnamese dishes include Bo Kho, which is a beef and vegetable stew, and buncha, a pork and noodle salad.

A popular Vietnamese soup is called pho. It contains noodles, beef or chicken, lime, mint leaves, bean sprouts and basil. Green tea is the most popular drink in Vietnam, but the Vietnamese also drink wine, beer and water.

One of most well-known Vietnamese foods is Goi Cuon. Goi Cuon, or Vietnamese summer rolls, contain pork and shrimp and are usually served with a peanut dipping sauce.
