Are vincas a perennial?
By Forinfos - 14/09/2025 - 0 comments
Most vinca flowers are in the annual family except vinca minor, which is a perennial. The annual vinca flowers resemble impatiens both as a flower and the way the plant bushes. Vincas thrive in full sun and intense heat.
Annual vincas have glossy green leaves and come in pink, lavender, red and white colors. The flowers can be planted in a container, border or a bed. This plant generally does not need deadheading. The perennial vinca, vinca minor, has small lavender-blue flowers the size of a nickel. It is used as a ground cover as it spreads by creeping across the ground and rooting at each node.
