Vitamins with antioxidant properties include vitamin A (converted from beta carotene), vitamin C and vitamin E. Antioxidants are found in highly colored fruits and vegetables such as those that are red, yellow, purple, blue and orange.
Vitamin A is found in orange- and red-colored fruits and vegetables such as carrots, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, peaches, nectarines and pumpkins; it is also found in various green vegetables. Vitamin C is found in citrus fruit, tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, berries and various other fruits and vegetables. Vitamin E is found in carrots, greens such as chard, turnip greens and mustard greens, nuts and seeds, and various other fruits and vegetables.
