One of the most commonly recommended vitamins that treats fatigue is vitamin B-12, as low levels can lead to fatigue and weakness, according to WebMD. Additional supplements and minerals that commonly treat fatigue include iron, magnesium, folic acid and ginseng.
A low vitamin B-12 level is most often present in people with certain medical conditions, such as anemia and digestive problems, as well in people who are over the age of 50, states WebMD. Even when taken in larger dosage amounts, vitamin B-12 is safe, as there is not a known level of the vitamin that doctors consider to be dangerous.
