Is there a Vodun column in Haiti?

There are no known Vodun columns in Haiti. According to The World Factbook published by the CIA, Vodun (or Haitian Voodoo) is practiced by more than half the Caribbean country's population albeit in secret. Roughly 80 percent of Haitians openly practice Roman Catholicism while privately practicing the syncretic Vodun religion.

While some practitioners combine both religions, Catholic cardinal Chibly Langlois spoke out against simultaneous practice claiming that being a purist in either religion is the only option for believers. Haitians that practice Vodun claim that the religion is representative of the culture is was brought to by African slaves and is a point of pride.
