Is there a warranty for refrigerator used parts?

Some used appliance parts sellers offer warranties on the parts that they sell. For example, U-FIX-IT provides buyers with a one-year replacement warranty, starting on the date of purchase, for the parts that they sell, unless an exception appears on the receipt.

If the customer has to order a replacement part under the warranty, the decision to provide a warranty for the replacement part varies. Some companies keep the existing warranty or give the customer the longer of 30 days or the remainder of the warranty on the original part. It is also common for companies to reserve the option of providing a full refund instead of replacement or repair.
