How do you wash windows?

Clean windows by clearing off cobwebs and dust, spraying with glass cleaner and wiping until dry with paper towels. Use a toothbrush or small, soft scrub brush to touch up the corners if the windows are very dirty.
- Remove cobwebs and dust
Use a feather or static duster to sweep away cobwebs or dust in the window area. Focus on the corners and the window frame.
- Clean the windowsill
Clean the windowsill with a soft, damp cloth. If the window has tracks, remove larger pieces of dirt from the tracks with a vacuum fitted with a narrow wand attachment.
- Scrub the corners of the glass with a soft brush
If there is dirt buildup in the corners of the glass, rub each one in a circular motion with a toothbrush or a small, soft scrub brush until the dirt is loosened.
- Spray the windowpane with glass cleaner
Evenly spray the windowpane with a light coat of glass cleaner, starting at the top.
- Clean the window pane with dry paper towels
Starting at the top of the glass, rub each portion thoroughly with a paper towel. Move across the pane from side to side, doing one strip at a time. Replace the paper towel with a clean one if it becomes soiled.
- Dry the entire window with a fresh paper towel
Go over the entire window with a new, dry paper towel to remove any streaks or lint.
