Why do watches stop working on some people?
By Forinfos - 11/07/2025 - 0 comments
There are many reasons why some people are more likely to have problems with watches breaking down than others. Those reasons relate to their usage habits and the types of environments in which they spend a lot of time, rather than any mystical reason or electromagnetic abnormalities.
Frequent exposure to dirt, dust or damp can stop a watch from working. Vibrations caused by working with heavy tools or pneumatic drills may damage the mechanism of a wind-up watch. In addition, if someone typically replaces his watch batteries with low-quality ones, he is likely to notice a pattern of those watch batteries dying quickly.
