Dab rubbing alcohol on the ink, and leave the alcohol on the stain for two minutes. Use paper towels or a damp wash cloth to blot the stain. If ink remains on the furniture, apply foaming shaving cream, advises About.com. If the shaving cream does not work, use hairspray cautiously, as it may damage some fabrics. Nonflammable dry cleaning liquid can also be used to remove ink, but rinse the fabric with water afterwards.
