What is the WCC Las Vegas tournament?

The annual West Coast Conference men's and women's basketball tournaments take place in early March at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. Prior to its arrival in Sin City, the conference tournament was rotated between the home courts of member schools.

Teams are seeded for the single-elimination tournament based on their conference record during league play, with the opening night of the tournament features two play-in games. One is between the No. 8 and 9 seed, and the other pits the No. 7 versus the No. 10 seed. The winners from the first day of action face the top two seeds in the league. The champion of both the men's and women's tournament receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament
