The AMX, Gremlin and the Concord are some AMC car models. The merger of Nash-Kelvinator Corporation and Hudson Motor Car Company in 1954 created the American Motors Corporation.
The AMX was a sports car sold as a two-door fastback coupe from 1968 through 1970. Its name stems from American Motors eXperimental. The Gremlin was a subcompact three-door hatchback manufactured from 1970 through 1978 and designed as a shortened version of the AMC compact car.
The Concord was a compact car manufactured from 1978 through 1983. It was available in varying years as a four-door sedan, three-door hatchback, two-door coupe and five-door station wagon. In 1979 and 1980, Concord station wagons were converted to electric cars and marketed as the Solargen Electric.
