What does Wien's law reveal?

Wien’s law, also known as the displacement law, reveals the wavelength at which any object emits the majority of its energy. The formula used to calculate the wavelengths using Wien’s law is λmax (wavelength) equals 3 x 10^7 divided by temperature.
This law that measures wavelengths in Angstroms and uses Kelvin as the unit measure for temperature is based on the fact that hotter objects emit more radiation compared to cooler objects, which implies that the wavelength at which a body emits the most light is related to its temperature. Wien’s law is used by astronomers to determine the temperature of observed stars.
