If a woman is 30 weeks pregnant, how many months until the baby is born?

At 30 weeks along a woman has 10 weeks, or about two-and-a-half months, of pregnancy left. Because the number of days in a month vary, it is difficult to know exactly how far along a woman is without knowing the date of her last menstrual period.

According to the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, a normal pregnancy lasts for 40 weeks after a woman's last menstrual period begins, which is 280 days. Because 30 weeks is 210 days, she would have 70 days or 10 weeks left. This calculates to 2.33 months, even though 210 days is exactly seven 30-day months.
