What are word emoticons?
By Forinfos - 23/11/2025 - 0 comments
Word emoticons are images that replace a particular word when that word is typed as a part of an instant messaging conversation. Word emoticons can be simple smiley faces, more sophisticated emojis or animated images.
MSN Instant Messenger allows users to choose their own word emoticons by selecting an image that they want to associate with a specific word. Facebook allows users to purchase sticker packs or install free packs that contain a selection of emoticons based on different themes. These emoticons are sent as a part of the conversation so that all users see them even if they do not have the relevant pack installed.
