There are many working Mississippi plantations that serve as national landmarks. These include Windsor Ruins in Port Gibson, Waverly Plantation in West Point, and Rosalie Mansion in Natchez.
Windsor Ruins is still in working condition, and sketches from the original owner are available for viewing.
Other plantations in Mississippi include: Longwood Plantation, Walter Place and Auburn Antebellum Home in Natchez; Walter Place in Holly Springs; and Bocage Plantation in Darrow. Each has photographs available online and many offer tours of the houses.
Some have brochures that date back to 1992 from Natchez, containing information on tours, prices and ages. Maps are also available.
