The world record for heaviest atlas stone lift in an official competition setting is held by Brian Shaw. Shaw successfully lifted an atlas stone weighing 551 pounds at Britain's World's Strongest Team Championship in May 2014. Shaw lifted a 560-pound stone a year before, but was not officially judged.
