From 2000 through 2003, Foot.com and Shoes.com sponsored an annual World's Most Beautiful Feet contest. As of 2015, several websites are dedicated to showcasing beautiful feet, but no evidence of another World's Most Beautiful Feet contest is available.
For several years Foot.com hosted this contest for fun and to draw attention to the serious issue of proper foot care. Feet were considered beautiful if they had a nice arch and no corns, bunions or defects as well as a little "extra something." The company offered the winner a grand prize trip and even provided a consolation prize to the Feet Most in Need of a Pedicure.
