The Companion Bible is an in-depth study bible edited primarily by E.W. Bullinger. Published in six parts between 1909 and 1922, it is based on the King James Version of the Bible.
Dr. E.W. Bullinger was a clergyman and Biblical scholar who lived from 1837 to 1913. In 1867, he became the clerical secretary for the Trinitarian Bible Society, a position he held until his death and which allowed him to carry out editorial work.
Bullinger's three most famous works are A Critical Lexicon and Concordance to the English and Greek New Testament, Figures of Speech Used in the Bible and The Companion Bible.
