The Gospel of John was written by John himself according to Bible scholars. John is also credited with writing First, Second and Third John, along with the book of Revelation.
According to the gospel of Luke, John was the fisherman partner of Simon, more commonly known as Peter. The Gospel of John is one of four canonical gospels in the New Testament of the Christian Bible. It is believed that John wrote the gospel at Ephesus. John appears last in the Bible, following the gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke. The gospel of John begins with the story of John the Baptist and ends with the story of Jesus Christ's death and resurrection.
