What year did "Pong" come out?

Atari first produced Pong for the arcade in 1972, with its first machine being available for the public to play on November 29th of that year.

Pong Doubles, a two-player version of Pong, was released in 1973 by Atari. Puppy Pong followed it in 1974. A mobile phone version of the original Pong was developed and released by iFone Limited in June of 2003. Subsequent releases of Pong by independent mobile developers have been released for iPhone and Android in recent years, with Paul Kilgo releasing the Android version in October 2010 and Tony Woollaston publishing the iPhone variant in March 2014.
