What are yorkie pom puppies?

The Yorkie Pom, also know as Yoranian, Porkie and PomYorkie, is a hybrid canine breed that is a cross between a Yorkshire terrier and a Pomeranian. It is a designer breed recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club (ACHC).

A designer breed differs from a mutt in that the entire lineage of the dog is known. Yorkie Pom's generally measure between 6 and 12 inches and weigh approximately 3 to 7 pounds at adulthood. They can live for as long as 16 years when cared for properly. Yorkie Pom's are characteristically affectionate and loving dogs; however, they do require a lot of attention as they have a tendency to become bored quickly.
