What is a Yorkie schnauzer?

A Yorkie schnauzer is a mixed-breed dog that is part Yorkshire terrier, or Yorkie, and part miniature schnauzer. This breed is also referred to as snorkies. These dogs grow to weigh between five pounds and 15 pounds and are considered a very small breed.

Snorkies are generally playful, affectionate dogs that are good with children. Their coats shed little but require regular trimming. The coloring of the coat varies from puppy to puppy, some adopting the Yorkie pattern and others displaying a solid, schnauzer coat. Snorkies are known to be highly trainable, intelligent, playful, and enjoy learning and performing tricks.
