Are Zaxby's menu and prices affordable?

Zaxby's, a fast-food chain specializing in chicken, has prices comparable to those at other fast-food chicken restaurants such as Chick-fil-A and KFC. The menu features cheaper side items and "Zappetizers" but also includes considerably more expensive items, such as chicken wing platters.

Prices vary by location, but as of 2015, there are a number of items on the menu under $5. Most of these items are appetizers including onion rings and fried mushrooms, side items such as coleslaw and French fries, or kids' meals such as chicken fingers. There are also a number of value meals, known as Meal Dealz, that offer an entree, French fries and a beverage for under $10.
