How often do Zaxby's menu and prices change?

While it is not known how often Zaxby's changes its menu or prices, the National Restaurant Association recommends that restaurants review the prices a minimum of twice per year. Some reasons for changing prices or menu items include food cost volatility, competitors' prices and desired margins.

Zaxby's began in 1990 as a local chicken restaurant and chicken is a staple on its menu. Other items can change based on supply of ingredients and demand for the product. If a key ingredient in a Zaxby recipe increases in price, the company may decide to raise the price instead of changing the recipe.
