Berkshire Hathaway does not offer mutual funds, but investors who want exposure to the company can purchase mutual funds that hold the company’s stock, explains Investopedia. Mutual funds such as The Sequoia Fund and the Weitz Partners III Opportunity Fund hold shares of Berkshire Hathaway stock, as of 2015.
Berkshire Hathaway’s class A and class B stock make up more than 11 percent of The Sequoia Fund in 2015, according to Investopedia. The fund produced annualized returns of more than 20 percent for its investors over the preceding five years. Berkshire Hathaway’s class B shares of stock make up 7 percent of the Weitz Partners fund, with 5-year annualized returns of approximately 15 percent.
