What is the "Alchemy" puzzle game?

Alchemy is a strategy puzzle game, created by PopCap Games. It requires the player to place different colored shapes, called runes, on a board to change the spaces to gold. The player wins the level when they turn the whole board to gold.

If a rune will not fit on the board, you can discard it in the lava to get a new one. The game will also give you "potions" to clear runes and stone blocks to give you new starting points for different runes and colors.

The game goes up in difficulty for each board, introducing new runes and colors at each level. You lose the game entirely when you discard too many runes.
