What is alcoholic fermentation?
By Forinfos - 03/05/2026 - 0 comments
Alcoholic fermentation is a natural process used to produce alcohol beverages, such as beer and wine. Yeast is often used in the alcohol fermentation process to oxidize energy in order to convert compounds, such as sugar, into alcohol.
Alcoholic fermentation started approximately 9,000 years ago in the Middle East. Alcoholic fermentation came right before the beginning of food fermentation. Food fermentation is also said to have began in the Middle East and in China. Alcohol fermentation occurs in both homes and in breweries. The quality of ingredients used in the process often depends on whether or not the fermentation is being performed for mass production.
