What are some apple orchards in Northern Virginia?

Stribling Orchard, Hartland Orchard, Hollins Farms, Mackintosh Fruit Farm and Crooked Run Orchard are some apple orchards located in Northern Virginia. These orchards are just over an hour’s drive from the Washington, D.C. metro area.

In addition to apples, the orchards offer other fruits and vegetables for sale, most of which are available as pick-your-own, and also local honey and cider. Stribling Orchard has an on-site bakery open every weekend, and Hartland Orchard sells Christmas trees in the fall. Apples available for picking on these orchards, including Fuji, Gala, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Honeycrisp and Cortland, to name a few.
