Is Anna Netrebko married?

Anna Netrebko is not yet married as of August 2015, though she is engaged. In July 2014 Netrebko announced she would wed fellow opera singer Yusif Eyvazov, a tenor.

Netrebko and Eyvazov met in Rome, while co-starring in Giacomo Puccini's "Manon Lescaut." They plan to get married in St. Petersburg, Russia, though Netrebko is no longer a Russian citizen. Netrebko had previously been in a relationship with Uruguayan bass-baritone Erwin-Schrott, with whom she has one child. Netrebko and Schrott had claimed they were married, though it was later revealed that the marriage had never taken place. Netrebko retains custody of their child, Tiago, who is mildly autistic.
