Hoda Kotb was married to Burzis Kanga, the former University of New Orleans tennis coach, for two years. The couple wed on December 3, 2005, and divorced February 14, 2007.

In 2012, Kotb dated lawyer Jay Blumenkopf, but the pair broke up in December 2012, after about one year together.

As of January 2015, Kotb is dating Manhattan financier Joel Schiffman, who works for a New York investment firm. Schiffman has been divorced once and has an adult daughter. The two have been dating since 2013.

As of September 2014, Kotb hosts the fourth hour of the "Today Show" along with Kathie Lee Gifford and is a correspondent for "Dateline NBC."
