What is the premise of the television show The Bachelor?

"The Bachelor" is a television dating show where one man dates multiple women in the hopes of finding the love of his life. There are approximately 25 women who enter the show hoping to be chosen as "the one" for the bachelor of the show. The show began in 2002 and has been a hit every season since its debut.

Each week follows the bachelor as he dates the various women and tries to build connections with them. At the end of every episode the bachelor has to pick contestants to go home. This process continues through the whole season until it is narrowed down to two or three from whom he must make his final choice.
