Jacqueline Winspear is the author of the "Maisie Dobbs" historical crime fiction series. Ms. Winspear was born in the United Kingdom and moved to the United States in 1990. She currently resides in California.
Jacqueline Winspear has received various accolades for her books, including an Agatha Christie Award for Best First Novel in 2003 and another for Best Novel in 2004. As of 2015, Winspear has been nominated four times for the award. There are eleven titles in the "Maisie Dobbs" series; the first, "Maisie Dobbs," was released in 2003.
Jacqueline Winspear also wrote another novel titled "The Care and Management of Lies" in 2014.
