Baptismal heaters, also called baptistry heaters, heat the water in church baptismal pools. Some models are portable and intended for temporary use, while others are permanent.

Portable immersion baptismal heaters are popular among churches with existing baptismal pools. They do not require modification of the pool and are easy to insert and remove. These heaters have adjustable thermostats, and do not stay in the pool during a baptism.

Another type of baptismal heater is the circulation heater, which provides constant heat. Basic circulation heaters attach to the side of the pool, draw water in from the bottom and release hot water from the top. This style of heater is popular in retrofitting applications.
