What are baseboard heaters for?
By Forinfos - 12/04/2025 - 0 comments
Baseboard heaters are used to heat up only the room that they are installed in rather than the whole house. This type of heating system is generally more cost-efficient as homeowners can choose to only provide heat to rooms that are being used, limiting energy usage.
A baseboard heater is typically powered using electricity and most models require between 500 to 2000 watts of power to operate. Typically, every 10 watts of power translates to one square footage of heated space. Specialized baseboard heaters are also available for commercial use and can be used to heat up large venues, such as stadiums and hotel lobbies.
