When was the Bentley Continental GT first released?

The first release of the Bentley Continental GT became available for consumer purchase in 2004. During the next four years after its initial release, consumers could only buy the car in one trim model called the Diamond Series.

At the time of the first model's release, the Continental GT had 552 horsepower. In 2009, the car became available in different trim models. As of 2015, the Continental GT has a twin turbo 6.0-liter engine with 600 horsepower.

The current model also bases its design on the 2011 model. This car also sports 20-inch wheels, xenon headlights and parking sensors. The current models also come with rear view camera and adaptive cruise control.
