The world's largest rabbit is a British continental giant weighing 55 pounds, according to Guinness World Records. This rabbit, named Ralph, claimed the title from the previous rabbit, a British continental giant named Darius, who claimed the title in 2010.

Ralph's parents both previously held records for their notable size.

British continental giants and Flemish giants are the two breeds of rabbits able to grow to gigantic sizes. British continental giants can grow to be the size of a human toddler. These rabbits eat diets of mostly vegetables, including cabbage, broccoli, corn, cucumbers and carrots. They also eat brown bread, crackers and apples.
