Where is Cambodia?

Cambodia is located in the southeastern region of the Asian continent. More specifically, Cambodia is part of the Indochina Peninsula. Cambodia shares its borders with Vietnam to the east, Laos to the north, and Thailand to the west. Southwest Cambodia consists of coastline along the Gulf of Thailand.

With an area of about 70,000 square miles, Cambodia is a small tropical country that experiences a wet season of monsoons and a dry season each year. Most of the country's terrain is characterized by forested plains surrounded by low mountains. Cambodia has a population of 13,329,000, as of 2014. Its capital is Phnom Penh.
