A 65-year-old woman can get pregnant, according to The Guardian. In April 2015 The Guardian reported a story about 65-year-old German woman in her fifth month of pregnancy. The same report noted other women from around the world who successfully conceived and gave birth when they were older than 65.
Women reach menopause between age 45 and 55, and the majority of women older than 50 need some form of medical assistance, such as fertility medication, hormone therapy or donor eggs, to be able to conceive, states Parenting. In addition, pregnancies beyond age 50 have higher risks of complications, including placental issues, and require a higher level of care than younger expecting mothers.
